GA4 mini audit: a quick health check of your tracking, from £175
For businesses that suspect their GA4 numbers are wrong. Marc Alexander checks the parts of GA4 that most often break, and tells you what's wrong, what it's costing you and how to fix it.
What it checks.
The areas where GA4 setups most often go wrong, and where a problem does the most damage to reporting and paid media.
- Property settings: timezone, currency, data retention and internal traffic filters
- Core tracking: whether page views and events fire, and fire once
- Key events: whether the actions that matter are counted, and counted once
- Ecommerce: purchase events and revenue, if you sell online
- Consent: whether Consent Mode actually changes what GA4 collects
- Attribution: channel grouping, UTMs and traffic lost at checkout or across domains
- Google Ads: whether GA4 and Google Ads are linked and key events import
What Marc needs from you.
- GA4: Viewer access to the property
- Google Tag Manager: Read access to the container
- Your site: the address, and any pages or journeys you're worried about
That's all. No admin access, and nothing in your account is changed.
How it works.

Marc runs the audit
He goes through your GA4 property, GTM container and the site itself, checking each area above. It takes 3 to 5 working days.
You get the report
A written PDF, with each problem ranked by its effect on the business and the fix for each one.
Straight answers.
What if you find nothing wrong?
Then the report says so, and lists what was checked. Knowing your GA4 data can be trusted is worth having before you make decisions on it.
What decides the price?
One GA4 property and one website is £175. Ecommerce sites or several domains cost more, and Marc confirms the price before you're invoiced.
Is this the same as the 38-point audit?
No. The mini audit is a fixed-scope check of the areas that most often go wrong, with a written report in 3 to 5 working days. The 38-point audit covers every checkpoint, includes conversations with your team and a findings presentation, and is from £600. Many clients start here and decide from there.
Do you need admin access?
No. Viewer access to the GA4 property and read access to the Google Tag Manager container are enough. Nothing in your account is changed during the audit.
Can you fix what you find?
Yes, as separate work. The report gives the fix for each problem, so your own team or developer can act on it. If you'd rather Marc does it, the audit and fix option or a quote for the specific fixes covers that.
How do I pay?
You'll get an invoice when you book. The audit starts once it's paid. There are no card payments on the site.
