GA4 measurement plan builder
Answer a few questions about your business, and get a measurement plan drafted for you: what counts as success, the GA4 events behind it and how to check the numbers. Download it as a spreadsheet and agree it with your team.
Your measurement plan.
A first draft from your answers, in the layout of the measurement plan template. Check each line with the people it affects, then fill in the owners, your domains and anything it couldn't know.

What's in the plan.
- Scope: the domains, journeys and data the plan covers
- Outcomes: what success means for your business, and which system holds the real number
- Key events: which GA4 events count as success, what each one is for, and the ones that deliberately aren't key events
- Customer journey: the stages your reports should follow, with the events at each one
- Rules: campaign tagging, payment pages, identity, consent and your ad platforms
- Reporting and QA: the official reports, and the checks that compare GA4 with your back office
The spreadsheet also has the template's People and Change log tabs. Nothing you choose is stored or sent to Marc. With analytics cookies on, GA4 counts which business type is picked and when a plan is downloaded, never anything about you.
If you'd rather have the plan written and built for you, it's the first step of every GA4 setup.

Talk to Marc about it.
Tell Marc what's happening with your tracking. The quickest place to start is usually a GA4 mini audit: a prioritised list of what's broken and what to fix first.
Mini audit from £175.
